Directions:

From the north (Halstead): Follow the A131 through High Garrett to the Thistley Green roundabout. Take the second exit (Broad Road) and at the bottom of the hill, go straight on at the two mini roundabouts onto Bradford Street.  At the next mini roundabout take the second exit, passing the war memorial on your right. Then take the next right onto St. Peter’s Road.  The church is at the top on the right.

From the East (Colchester and the A12): Follow the A120 to the Marks Farm roundabout, approaching in the right hand lane.  Take the second exit (B1256).  At the next roundabout take the second exit.  After about 1 mile, at the double mini roundabout take the second exit and then the second exit onto Courtauld Road.  At the next mini roundabout take the first exit passing the war memorial on your right.  Then take the first right onto St. Peter’s Road.  The church is at the top on the right.

From the south (Chelmsford and the A12): Follow the A131 to the Notley Green roundabout. Take the first exit onto the Great Notley bypass. Go straight on at the next two roundabouts, (Cuckoo Wood and Queenborough Lane). At the next roundabout, take the second exit, pass under the bridge and take the first available exit at the next roundabout.  At the next roundabout take the third exit onto the B1256, Rayne Road.  Then, at the traffic lights go straight on, passing the B&M store on your right.  At the T junction in front of the White Hart Hotel, bear left, and continue down the hill passing Causeway House, (the District Council offices) on your left. Take the next left into St. Peter’s Road.  The church is at the top on the right.

From the West (Stansted and the M11 J8):  Follow the A120 towards Colchester passing the two Dunmow junctions. About 4 miles beyond them, begin looking for then sign for Chelmsford and the A131 it will include a lorry route logo. The roundabout name painted at the top of this sign is “Panners”. A good milestone is the “De La Mode” warehouse on the right. Take this slip road and at the roundabout take the first exit signposted “Braintree Town Centre (B1256)”.   At the next roundabout take the third exit onto the B1256, Rayne Road.  Then, at the traffic light-controlled crossroads go straight on passing the B&M store on your right.  At the ‘Y’-junction in front of the White Hart Hotel, bear left, and pass Argos on your left. Continue down the slope passing Causeway House (the District Council Offices) on your left. Take the next left into St. Peter’s Road.  The church is at the top on the right.

By Rail: Trains run hourly from London Liverpool Street to Braintree via Witham. Travellers coming from Ipswich, Colchester or Norwich should change at Witham and make their way to Platform 4 for connections to Braintree.
